Podcast host Catherine Weetman cuts through the noise around circularity, getting to the heart of what’s critical, and why circular approaches should be at the core of business strategy.

A long career in manufacturing, retail and supply chain across a wide range of industries gave her an inside track on the complexities, risks and blind spots that make it hard for businesses to see the disruptive trends, long-term threats and changing business landscape.

For over a decade, Catherine has been exploring how fair, regenerative and circular approaches are better for people, planet and prosperity. In 2015, she was invited to write the first edition of A Circular Economy Handbook, with a radically revised third edition published by Kogan Page in 2025. Catherine is regularly invited to give talks and keynotes at business conferences and delivers webinars and workshops to venture accelerators, companies and business support groups.

Podcast music

Thanks to Belinda O’Hooley and Heidi Tidow, otherwise known as the brilliant, inventive and generous folk duo, O’Hooley & Tidow, for allowing me to use the instrumentals from the live version of Summat’s Brewin’ as music for the podcast. You can find the whole track (inspired by the Copper Family song “Oh Good Ale”) on their album, also called Summat’s Brewin’. You can follow them on Twitter too.
